Before and after pics....

I finally got a good look at my before pics (I avoided looking at them) but needed to see how far I've come. I still hate those pictures but now when I compare them to what I look like now, I'm very pleased. I've lost almost 60 lbs now and feel great. I have energy, I have confidence and all my co-morbidities are gone! Having this surgery was the smartest thing I ever did and I am so greatful that I had the means to get it done.

Wow you look great! Congrat 60lbs is amazing. I am 6 weeks post op down 35lbs. Hope to have as much success as you. I am also very glad I decided to take the plunge with the surgery.

Too be honest, you don't look so big to me in the 'before' pictures. I have lost 33lbs and am still much heavier than you were. So I'll be really happy when I get to your starting weight -- don't be down on who you were, you did the best you could.
But my now, what a fabulous change you've made in yourself with the help of the sleeve. You must be able to get around much better.

Thanks, I know I should be proud of the changes that I made to help lose this weight. And I am.....just can't help thinking (as I look at those pics) that I was as big as I was. Makes me even more determined to never get that big again (but with what little we can eat, I don't think it's a possiblity......)
