Reached My Goal!!!!

I officially reached my weight loss goal today! I had my surgery Nov. 11, so it took 7 months. I love the way I look but I still have a few jiggly parts and could maybe lose a few more. I know some is skin, but some is fat. But even if I don't lose anymore....I'm thrilled with the results and this confirms it as the best decision ever! I even bought size 8 shorts the other day! Long way from 18!
People always comment on how good I look and my husband said he can tell how happy I am talking about it cause my eyes just sparkle! So for those of you that are just starting or are somewhere along your journey...I know you'll get there. And you will love the results just like me!

congrats!!! question for you , did u have much hair loss or any at all, if you did, is there anything that helps with it beside getting your protein and vitamins and biotin, i am doing all of these things and my hair is falling out really fast... everyone say that hairloss starts at 3-6 months out, mine started at about 1 1/2 months out. my surgery date was march 29th 2011!!

I didn't have any hair loss...yet! Sorry to hear you are experiencing that. The worst thing for me was the constipation!

Way to go Big Momma.......I has my surgery 2 days before you and I am about 20 pounds from my goal weight. I started at 255 and my goal is 145. Today I weight 165. I totally agree that it has made a huge difference in my life and I am truly a much happier person. I started wearing a size 22 and I am now wearing a size 10. I had a very small period of hairloss but not sure if it was from my thyroid levels being off or if it was the weightloss. I would have to agree that constipation has been a huge issue for me too.......Enjoy your new beautiful self. Tam

Yay!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you. How did you control the constipation? Laxitives?

I did try some laxatives but they really made my guts churn. I tried a laxative tea with minimal results. The thing that works the best is trying to get more fluids in, which is hard! I became used to the idea of a bm every 4-5 days. Eventually, I became more regular and now go everyday. I think some things just take time with our systems. Some foods had the opposite effect though-chinese, mexican and bacon!
