Default Not sure if this is normal or not....

I have been slowly introducing pureed foods into my diet and also tried some cottage cheese which is fine but I find that it feels like the food is just sitting in my esophagus and I am forced to take a sip of water. Does anyone have that problem? I wonder if this is an indicator that I could have a problem? Also my stomach and esophagus make quite a ruckus with all the gurgling going on....does that last? It would be embarrassing to be at at work event/dinner and having my sleeve be so noisy...lol! Thanks!

With the first bite, after 5 or what? It could be your feeling of full if after a few bites.

Sounds like you could be taking too big of a bite. Each bite should be really tiny at this point. While my doc at this stage said to limit food to 1/2 a cup I was finding that even 1/4 a cup was too much. Right now you're probably at over capacity with those few bites.

I get that. It's less now but for the last few weeks when I eat most times the same thing happens. It's so loud and funny and I burp a little or get the hiccups. My daughter lies on my tummy to listen to it because its so loud. No matter what I eat it takes awhile to make it through my stomach so I have to stay sitting up to let the air out. Also, it crawls back up my throat always. If I lie down it comes into my mouth. One thing that I have done is take an ant-acid for the last couple days and it seems to be helping. I think it's just our new tummies adjusting to digesting food. I think your doing fine. Just don't eat too much at one time.

At your stage I was using a baby spoon to eat and waiting inbetween bites. My stomach still makes noise but not as load as before.
