I liked "pink lemonade" It is not thick and tastes like real lemonade. I think I got it at bariatricchoice.com, but but just google "pink lemonade protein drink"
Thank you. I went to HEB tonight and looked at a few. We bought the Mypex brand. I guess it is just trial and error. Only two weeks...I can do this. I hear we won't have the hunger hormone afterwards, so I am not as worried about afterward. Good luck on your jouneys with weight loss!
The bariatric advantage is good when you mix fruit with them, the vanilla is far better than the chocolate. My favorite with the bariatric advantage was the vanilla powder with skim milk and pineapple and raspberries. but i think all of the protein shakes just take a little time to get use to.
I ended up loving Myoplex Chocolate, a brand of EAS. My HEB happened to have a buy one get one free deal. But then I went to Smoothie King, my way of eating out, and the Gladiator with vanilla and strawberries rocked! I bought the powder they sell to alternate with Myoplex. I was doing great on day three until my hubby had a burger. That was tough.
I use GNC Pro Performance Low Carb/Low Fat. 170cal, 40 g protein, 1 g carb, 1g fat per serving. I have the chocolate for breakfast every day
Straight forward. Straight facts. Whether you like the truth or not... I'm not made of sugar coating

I loved Chike before surgery. I have tried to drink it several times since surgery and it feels phlemy in my throat. I can't swallow it. So now I like Unjury strawberry sorbet mixed with Mott's for tots apple juice and water, and the unflavored mixed with crystal lite or sugar free koolaid. BTW, I didn't like Unjury before surgery. lol Go figure.
I've been to GNC twice for different powder and can't stomach them. Thank goodness they have a great return/refund policy. I can't drink slimfast or anything out of a can because all I taste is the can. lol
OK.. i have to comment on here again.. I bought the Body Fortress at Walmart.. cookies and creme. it has a real strong coconut flavor that i was NOT expecting .. i can stomach it but wasn't happy. I did like the amount of protein in it and the price though. I am going to try strawberry but i may cry if that tastes like coconut as well.
coconut? Omigod, I'd kill for it if it tasted coconut-ty to me! I love coconut. To me, it tastes vaguely chocolate-y. Isn't that weird?
