No, I never got that but I want you to call your surgeon immediatly! I m sure they gave you an emergency number. I'm not trying to scare you but it sounds like it could be a blood clot on your lung. Boodclots are very common with this surgery. Hopefully its nothing but don't wait, please call now! If you wait it can e fatal. If its nothing even better. Please do this now and let me know the results.

Tomato soup! Didn't think that was on my list. Would love a change though. I never had a dry mouth, thankfully. I was allowed ice chips right after surgery but any fluids I took in by mouth on day 1 just came back up. Went home 24 hours after surgery and was able to keep down all but pain meds. By 2 days post op at home, stopped having any probs. Now I'm 5 days post op, off pain meds and feeling great! Getting lots of fluids down including atleast 60 grams of protein. Getting sick of sitting around already! Good luck!

I have not had that. I just have pain at drain site when I cough or sneeze or get in and out of bed. I think you should call your doctor about your new pain.

Fortunately, the pain is much better tonight. It maybe mostly gas just in that area. This has really been a pretty good surgical experience. The outcome is going to be so exciting!
