I was bad today...and the day is not over :(

Today I have just been HUNGRY. Nothing is satisfying, even when I eat and I'm full, I just don't feel SATISFIED today.

Today I ate
a 210 calorie microwave meal
part of a chipotle burrito leftovers...200 cal
an arby's junior roast beef sandwich with half the bun. 200 calories
a kitkat candybar 210 calories

its five pm and i'm already pushing 900 calories and i feel like i could eat again. i'm craving bad carbs like you cannot believe. i want chocolate again...i want another sandwich....im just hungry

I went through this a couple of weeks ago. I was miserable. It was actual hunger not head hunger or gas, in my opinion anyway. I ate whatever I was craving at the moment. This lasted about 4 days and then it was gone. Not sure what was going on but it didn't affect the scale any and I went right back to my healthy habits. Glad it's over though and i'm glad it happened to someone besides me. Lol!

One thing I'm totally doing different this time with the sleeve versus any "diet" I've been on including the band surgery is that I'm trying my best to not react in the same way as I used to when I was "on a diet."

For me that means not putting time frames on things and not thinking in terms of eating "good" v "bad".

Instead acknowledge that my choices may not have been the best ones and move on.

Oh, me too. This is the largest amount of calories I've had since surgery. It's due to the two protein bars I had today, but I am desperate to get all the protein I need in. I think I'll limit myself to one protein bar from now on. :-/

i don't usually feel like this...and I have not had any sugar substitute of any kind since january first, so I won't do the sugar free popcicles sadly. A walk would have been great, but its looking yucky outside. I don't know whats wrong with me...yes it was bad choices in general...bleh.

I have had an eattie day too. It is not that I really am hungry, it just feels like I am not finding what it is I really want or need to eat. I am craving carbs really bad too. I want something crunchie and munchie. I just don't know how to find that while on soft foods. I have eaten a couple of saltines but that just isn't doing it for me. good luck getting through your evening.

I feel you, I was like that last week, it will pass and you'll get back on track, one thing they say is if you blow out let it happen, enjoy it then pick up the next day and move on. Your fine happens to the best of us! Have some cheese with your whine...lol. I would!

I definitely have days like that! For me, sometimes its hormonal. Some days it makes no sense but i just can't get full. There are days I just go with it and try to start with protein. The thing is, I have found that if I am specifically craving something and I try to substitute, I end up eating the substitute AND what I wanted in the first place! lol. Just have it and get it out of your system has been my new philosophy andso far so good, slow as it has been. But I can live with it. Best wishes to you!
