been sick for a week and scared...

so its a week now that i have been sick and havent worked out because of it i cant stop thinking about it being a whole week wasted! we only have a short period of time where we lose weight fast and i want to use that to my full advantage...even if im still sick tomorrow im going to the gym. on the upside i had my 3 month check up today and everything is going great....so far

Don't worry about the weight loss, worry about healing. The weight loss will happen whether you skip a week or 2 in the gym or not.
That said - sweating out a cold/flu is a sure fire way to get over it quicker. Just be careful not to push too hard too fast.

Your doing great with the weight loss so far. No not worry about the workouts if you are feeling sick. You have PLENTY of time to make it to goal! Sure as time passes the stomach will accept a little more food and therefore the weight loss does slow down, but I wouldn't worry about that if you are not feeling up to par. According to my doctor we have about 18 months until the weight lose stops. I hope and pray he is right as I am a slow loser due to age and thyroid issues. But you only have 36 pounds to go. You will get there soon enough = well before the weight loss stops. Just concentrate on getting well. I hope it is soon.

One of the gym instructors told us that if you are sick from the neck up, no excuse not to work out. If you are sick from the neck down, take a break.
