Skin after lost 224 lbs & now Pregnant - important question ^^

Hey ,

im want to share my skin on my belly after i lost 224lbs. And again, excuse my bad english ^^ i hope you understand me.

Maybe here are some Moms or going to be moms who can tell me, or show me, how your belly looks like in the half and/or the end of your pregnancy.

The reason is: After loose so many weight, my skin looks like that: (disgusting i know ^^)




So, i sure know, its took more time to see what grows under my heart as on skinny Girls ^^. And ask someone in germany by way of comparison it's really hard. It seems im the only one who lost that many weight, or their are males ^^ or women who finished their family plans .

Ok, the reason now is, my parents in law still don't know whats happen ^^
My work knows, everyone else of my family knows.

So, my parents in law lives about 1000 kilometers north's from us. North Germany near denmark, and we in south bavaria, near to austria haha. =)
We always drive for christmas, and in the big hollidays in August. So this August its a no-way to drive.
My delivery will be the 31'th august 2013. =) Summerbaby, and my husband say'd too, he don't want to read, the birth place was a restplace somewhere on germany's highway haha (Autooooobahn) It's true. Drive 12 hours in a car to be high preggy is a no go. =)

So, my p. in law know, that we drive to eastern (2nd week) end march/start April and stay a bit longer than a week. About 11 days.

We want to surprise them =D. They still dont know, that a grandchild is on the way.
I will be in the 18./19. week than. Close to the half.
Are some much lost weight and preggy Moms here, who was/are preggy while they didn't had the plastic surgery ? How looks your belly in that time?

I have so much fear, that the surprise wont work, because they wont SEE it when i get out of the car ^^

Well, i will see it, if i dont get a nice belly, or a belly who someone could study.. is it a baby or is she just fat ? xD
If dont, i will use a belly bandage with little feets or something. So there is no any questions needed.

I know she will fall down for happyness hahaha. She asks me feeled one time a month when she will gain a grandchild hehe. So, there it is

I freak out. Last thuesday, it moves the first time. Waved with the litttle liiiitttllleeee arms, and jumps around like a frog.
My Gyn has a very big flatscreen in front of the chair, so yu have cinema feeling He zoomed to the umbilical cord and it pulsed. Awsome. He show's us the little flattering heart.

I was between cry and fall down haha

And this is the "Mothers pass" we gain in germany. How looks your pass in the usa ?

How wonderful! So happy for you and your husband, and his family will be so thrilled I'm sure.
You know it's just skin. You have the best possible outcome of your surgery. You are healthier, you are having a baby.
The rest is just packaging.
I think you'll be able to see your round little bump because it will be higher but you can always put on a shirt under your coat that announces things for fun. Later after the baby comes if you decide you want to have some of the skin removed you can do that then.

So very happy for you. Loved being pregnant, I used to talk to my daughter every day while she was in my belly. Now at 8 years old she doesn't stop talking!!

I had a Mutterpass when I lived in Germany (Rheinland-Pfalz) but they don't have those things in the US (at least not with my other two babies. Even though you'll be almost halfway there, you may not show much. With two of my babies, I was a bit "fluffy" and didn't obviously show until much later. It was more like "did she gain more weight or something?"

So long ago I had my boys. They are 23 and 22, I remember my pregnancies perfectly though.......I wouldn't deal with the skin issues till all the babies are born...if you plan on more than one. Good luck with the pregnancy...

How delightful for you that you are healthy and pregnant! Worry about the skin after you lose your baby weight and see how it all falls. Enjoy every minute. They will notice because I am sure you have lost in your face and other places that people who have not seen you in a while will notice. Congratulations!

Congratulations Cindy on the new baby and the amazing weight loss! I don 't think your in-laws will be able to tell by looking at you at just 18-19 weeks pregnant. You should plan a fun surprise for them.

Where in Bayern do you live? I used to live near Rosenheim. I wold LOVE to live there again!

Maybe you could do something like hand them the pregnancy test. Or get a onesie that says "World's Greated Grandparents" on it and give that to them. There are tons of fun,ideas online.
