I'm excited to have found this wonderful site! I have begun the process towards becoming 'sleeved'. I have met my surgeon, been to the psychologist, and attended my first of four nutrition & weight management classes.
I am amazed by how hard each of you are working to make lifelong changes and your commitment to life! I am praying each day my insurance company will decide to cover my procedure and I look forward to the day I am able to begin my journey

Welcome to the site. It has been my support group and it will keep you motivated. Hope your insurance is smart enough to understand the cost benefits of this surgery. If not, keep pushing them.

I agree with you about this site. I have a person at work that had the sleeve done a year ago and he looks and says he feels great. So I told him about this site to help him stay motivated and he could help those of us that are about to have surgery. Another person at work just heard today that her surgery could be about 3 weeks from now. I told her about the site too and she has been on it already and has said only good things about it too.
