Surgeon's office

I have been calling Anthem BCBS pretty much everyday and they tell me that they don't have any paperwork. My surgeon's office swears they know what they are doing. So I take it upon myself to do a conference call with both parties. Anthem told them that they had nothing so pretty m uch my 15 days starts again.

it sucks! but unfortunately we have to be on top of our cases in anything!!!

Almost the same thing happened to me! I called BC&BS, and they haden't recieved my papers, and the Dr's office had sent the papers to the wrong #! They also told me I owed this big deductable, and I didn't. There are a lot of different plans out there, and you have to be on top of everything, because, alas, others are not.

They told me to call back on Wednesday because it takes a few days. My surgeon's office told them we need quick approval since we have been getting tossed around. I don't think that held any weight.

I hear ya! I have BCBSWY and had a go round with them yesterday. Hope you get it all worked out!
