Mommy Makeover @ Jerusalem Hospital

Okay people this morning I received a call from Heather @ Jerusalem Hospital. It appears that they are back into plastics and scheduling for mommy makeovers. Apparently their stays are now 10 days for this procedure and the cost is $7500 and their surgeon is Dr. Yanez. I was informing Heather that I was aware that I should wait at least a year after Wl surgery before having the MM. And her response was No I didn't That I could have it done as soon as 6 monthe post op..Hmmmmm?? That didnt sound right to me. I just need more information ...Is this true? Is this a good price for what they're offering and does anyone have any feedback on Dr. Yanez ?
I'm going to be honest I've been really considering Dr. Nieble, but would just like to get some feedback on both. I have heard good and bad so just want to know if anyone would like to share their experience? I do still have some time before i'm going to have this procedure done.However, I do want to do some research ahead of time.

Maybe different docs have differing opinions on this. (I have not had my surgery yet) My doctor told me it should be 2 years after my surgery before I should consider plastic surgery. I think 2 years is a bit long. I am anxious to hear what others have to say about this!!

I was told by Dr to wait at least 18 months after surgery. I think 6 months is to quick,but then again I'm not a doctor.

Can't wait to hear feedback from people who have the MMO on this subject, wanted to see what everyone says...I too wondered if we really do have to wait a year(what I was told by a Kaiser Dr) I have heard that MMO and other PS can be done as early as 10 months, but that there are other factors involved, like stablizing your goal weight...

i had my sleeve 2 years ago, and just had part of my cosmetic surgeries like 10 days ago with doctor egana at tijuana, the first time i contact him he told me i must wait between 6-12 months with out any changes in my weigh so i wait for 6 months, i trust him because he was recommended by a friend of mine that had surgery with him (also their friends), the other 2 girls that had surgery same week end did wait around the same time (8 months).

my friend just had gastric bypass and his doctor said minimum one year and he's been at goal for awhile.what's the rush....make sure you have lost all the weight....

There are so many factors to consider when and if to have a MMO. When my daughter went for a consult before her Breast surgery the doctor had several questions for her. How long has your weight been stable? Do you want to lose more weight? How long has it been since WLS? He wanted her to at a stable weight for at least 3 months and at least 18 months after WLS. I think you should wait until you reach your goal to worry about what PS you will need because with exercise and toning you may not need as much as you might think. A lot depends on age and individual body composition. The skin will shrink up some over time especially when younger. Good luck.

I would be wanting to know from Almanza's office what time you get your surgery, I remember one posting saying it was really late at night because all the sleeve clients go first. And do you stay there that night, when they push through too many people there is not enough beds and if I remember correctly this same poster was taken over to their other clinic-the one we had our drains removed and extra hydration provided at. Until they get their space and number issues worked out I would think about going elsewhere- and that is totally non reflective about their surgeon, I know NOTHING about him.....

I dont know why anyone would WANT to stay anywhere for ten days after a MMO!! And, is that price for a standard tt? What if someone needs the circular belt lipectomy? Is that a breast lift? Implants? Reconstruction? Does Dr Yanez evaluate pictures prior to scheduling? Does he even know what surgery he is scheduled for and on whom? Or, will it be like CHARITY's experience? I hope things have changed there. I just want people to be safe AND get good results.
