holy cow.. size 26 to size 16 in six months@!

righto, so i was invited to a friends 40th birthday party... today i went to chermside to try to find something, anything that was age appropriate and didn't look like id squeezed into it and tied string around the problem areas..bigw found a nice dress, tried it on was determined i was going to get it,went back and thought nah, here we go again,another shopping trip ending in dissapointment and frustration... so walking around i found aboutique.. yeah you heard me a boutique.. one of THOSE shops...and so i walk in, size 8 and 10 everywhere, about to walk out and i see this little grey dress,pretty, light, summery,flowy...only size up to a 16, so i'm like,well what the hell right? i try it on and damned if it didn't fit like it was made just for me!! 100 bucks later and i dont' give a rats.. it's lovely, and i feel great.... maybe shopping isnn't as bad as i always thought it was after all..

yeah i might come around evntually, certainly not as traumatic as it once was, but i've still got to get it out of my head that i have to go to the fat section first these days.

That's awesome! Congrats! Even as a guy, I really like looking good and dressing up, it's hard to do right now without going to a place like Casual Male XL and spending $99 for 1 nice shirt. I'm excited to be able to just go to a normal store and shop and pick up some nice digs, it's gonna make me enjoy shopping all over again.
