Yesterday was my one year surgaversary. Thank you all my friends here for helping me with the best decision I ever made. 184 pounds less of me thanks each and everyone here that helps keep me on track.

Congratulations! Tell us how you feel physically? What can you do now that you couldn't do before? Did you have health issues? Are they resolving? Being smaller is an amazing result of this surgery, but I think extending our lives is the real prize!

I fell so much better overall. I broke my back in 2004 and have had mobility and weight issues hand in hand since. I can walk enough to shop some and even treadmill a bit without my wheelchair. My blood pressure is lower using 1/2 the meds I was for that. Having a complete new wardrobe makes me smile everyday. Still need my CPAP Doctor says maybe by next year. I can shower without a shower chair, doesn't sound like much but with six of us there was always a wet shower chair in the way in tub or bathroom floor.
