    Default 6 weeks post op

I am 6 weeks post op and I am having such severe cravings. I am craving grilled zuchini. beef in black bean sauce with zuchini. deli meat, cheese and tomato then broiled. sesame chicken. fried rice. Pretty much anything asian.
I am not craving any sweets. I am addicted to pinterest.com finding recipes. My cravings are worse now than before I was sleeved. Anyone else get these crazy cravings??

That sounds really good. Is there a reason you can't have it? Please share the recipe.

My cravings are of junk foods. Cheeseburgers, french fries, popcorn ( I haven't gone to a movie since getting sleeved as I don't think I could stop myself from getting some). Oddly enough my biggest addiction pre-sleeve was coca-cola but I haven't had an inkling to have it at all, weird.

There's no reason you can't try any of that stuff. Granted, some of it might make you sick.
The things I used to crave and enduldge myself are now (thankfully) pretty unappealing. Taco Bell, pizza, cheeseburgers, etc. My taste buds have really changed a lot since my surgery. If you don't incorporate some foods that you still really like, the mental anguish of temptation would be crippling. The whole idea of "forbidden fruit" foods I think just makes it worse. You have to allow yourself a few times to cheat a little. That's just my philosophy though.

My wife asked me one day what I wanted for lunch so I joked that I wanted pizza. She comes in with grilled tofu with tomato sauce some meat and cheese on top. I laughed and while it wasn't pizza it was actually pretty good.
