Today is my one year sleeve anniversary!!

I can't believe it!! It is one year today that I had my sleeve. I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING!! It had been a roller coaster ride of the great kind!! I am 92 pounds down and feel amazing!! I have tons of energy! I had to cut wheat entirely from my diet because it upset my stomach every time I ate it. Even whole grain bothered me. I don't miss it though because there are SO many alternatives!! I even went to New York City with my son in December and walked the entire city for 5 days without getting tired. I even ate the top of a piece of pizza everyday!

I use to HATE clothes shopping and now I even try things on in the store!! What a difference a year makes!! I have attached a before and after picture.

If anyone is thinking about getting the sleeve, I say DO IT!! I have no regrets!!

The main two things is I keep a food log. I write everything in My Fitness Pal.com. I rarely miss a day. EVERYTHING I put in my mouth goes in my food log, no matter what. Exercise has helped. I have been really lazy since Xmas but I'm getting back in the swing of it. The second thing is making sure I eat protein first and if I am going to have something sweet, I wait until I am just about full and have one bite. That way I don't feel deprived, but yet I can't eat the whole thing.

Congrats on the anniversary and very well done on the loss. Even though it is easy at first with not eating keeping up the good work is hard and you have done really well!!!!!!!!!!
