I mean seriously, is this temporary or forever.......the need to be sitting on the toilet with wet wipes everytime you need to pass gas? I am not trying to be crude, but omg i hope this is just a surgery aftermath!!!!!

my first goal is to get to 141pounds, that will put me in the NORMAL range bmi. My second goal is 120, which is thin and healthy.
For most people it straightens out in a week or 2. It is just all the liquids and very little solids you are taking in. Once you are eating real food again you should see the problem get better, and probably get constipated.
I am almost 3 months post op and I still get Sharts. I keep wondering when it will end too. LOL! I contain them now because I found out the hard way what can happen if you don't.

Oh crap, so I plan on going back to work 4 days after my surgery and you guys are telling me I could shit my pants when I think it's just an innocent fart?
I saw the other day on Dr Oz that artificial sweeteners can cause diarrhea/leaky gut, could this be the cause? For those passing lots of sharts, are you eating lots of artificial sweeteners or is it really just the liquid diet? Otherwise, I might just go pick up a box of depends, I couldn't handle a skid mark showing through my pants, never mind a brown mark on my chair.
