Hi guys, i am two 15 now since my operation and since one week now I am not losing weight. I am so frustrated and sad. Anyone experienced this?
Thanks,
yes, I have lost over a hundred lbs and felt like I was stalled more than not the entire time. It will happen quicker than you think. It was hard but the best thing I did for myself was break the daily scale habit. it may not be for everybody but it was less depressing. Blessing to you!

It seem like almost everyone has a stall early in there weight loss journey. Usually in the 2nd or 3rd week. So you are normal but I know it can be very frustrating but you body is adjusting. Try to relax about it because it is all apart of the process.
Be sure to take and check your measurments too.....sometimes the scale wont move...but you will still be losing inches. I use fitday.com to log in my weight, measurements, activity and foods ive eaten. The scale isnt the only way to measure your progress Best of luck!
I feel like i have been in one continuous stall since surgery....with tiny breaks of weight loss lol. the weight IS coming off, just in spurts instead of smoothly. After all these days now since surgery....i just accept that this is how i lose. two weeks no loss, one week, lose every day!
Pounds LOST since surgery 111
Finally reached Onderland 3/1/2013
Height 5'3" Small frame
Starting BMI day of surgery : 45.7 MORBIDLY OBESE CLASS 3
BMI current 26.0 OVERWEIGHT
my first goal is to get to 141pounds, that will put me in the NORMAL range bmi. My second goal is 120, which is thin and healthy.
I feel like I am on a stall for sure...I am 3 weeks out and just started eating somewhat reg foods (well chewed of course) and I sometimes will eat up to 1000 calories in a day but usually more like 800 which I have been tracking. I just weighed this morning and am up a pound, very discouraging but I just have to believe that there is no way at this point I can make any assumptions, and the fact that I get so full so quick tells me that it HAS to come off. I will try my dangdest not to use my scale but once a week...maybe that will stop my inner dialogue of negativity.
Hi Hind,
Although I have been losing weight on a steady basis my wife has and still is having the same issue as you. Just be patient women's bodies are a lot different then men but the weight will come off. Although I lose on a steady basis my wife has multiple pound weight loss when it does come off. So where I lose half a pound a day she will stay steady then all of a sudden lose 4 pounds. Keep the faith and make sure you are eating your protein and drinking your fluids, don't cut back.
