Default Do you ever get afraid it will just stop?

I mean, I was just sitting here thinking. What if it stops, what if I somehow don't lose another pound? I know that's not reality, but I actually got scared! Then I was like What the hell Erin, you know that's not happening! Lol idk maybe just an internal battle with my old diet life. Anyway, I was wondering if I'm just a weirdo or others get this way lol?

I never thought about that, but guess what i did think about? I was wondering what if it never stopped for years and I continued to loose and loose and cant stop it and then become very little with tons more health problem from low nutrition. I guess we all have crazy thoughts, but we will be just fine!! Good luck!

I had the same thoughts this morning.........I know in my "real mind" that my/our weight loss will continue. I even thought what if I never lost another pound would I be happy at the weight I am now? I am lower than I have been in 27 years but I really want to see what else is ahead for me and what I will eventually look like-I'm not ready for this journey to end. Yes, others get this way too. Take care.

It's completely normal.... I thought that most of the way down, with every one of my (I believe) TEN stalls. Now that I'm within 2lbs of my goal weight, I can't help but have the thoughts that Brit has had.... "What if it doesn't stop?", "What if I just keep losing and become underweight?" - My surgeon told me before that the body just knows when it's done losing and will stop when it reaches a comfortable weight. If this weight is higher than you want, you can push past it with vigorous exercise and diligent food choices. If it's lower than you are comfortable with, your surgeon and nutritionist can give you tips for gaining a little back and how to maintain. It's probably best not to fixate on these fears and just focus on the task at hand. Like the old saying goes... "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it!" Good Luck

    Angela,
I noticed you had 10 stalls, I am only 16 pounds from my goal and I have hit another stall. Very frustrating. Trying not to get discouraged.

    Thanks,
    Gina

Believe me when I was in my first stall just 12 days after surgery, I thought of well this is what everyone has talked about and it will end soon and the scales will start. After 3 weeks when the scales would not budge I began to think I was cursed and this was it. It has moved some since then but slowly.
Best wishes for you continued success and may all your stalls be short ones.

Highest weight 440 lbs. lowest weight 9.5 lbs at birth
    Date of surgery weight 340
    12 week checkup 301 BMI <50 yeah!
Weight on birthday 3/24/48 Goal 285 would be nice.
