Hi Brenda,

My staples for my incisions were removed and then steri-strips applied after. They have worked well. My skin is reacting to the strips too though.
Good to hear that you had a positive experience there. I felt like a burger at McDonalds!!! The more they push out the better!! Lol. Oh well. It's over now and I am happy to be on the sleeved side though. Today I finally feel somewhat normal. The "brick" feeling is subsiding now. It's getting easier to drink.

I have heard the Hotel Pueblo Amigo was nice but it sounds like you were surrounded by too much noise! I'm sorry to hear that! I am sorry your experience was less than great. Sounds like you were just ready to get the heck out of dodge! I agree some parts of Tijuana are iffy and kind of slum looking and other parts are better. Over by the Consulate seems to be a nicer area where the Hotel Ticuan is. Was Dr. Garcia nice at least? I have heard good things about him. Have a happy holiday and your sleeve is done and over and it's all good stuff from here on out.

Thanks for your message. Today I am feeling somewhat normal. The "brick" feeling when I drink is subsiding now. I can actually take a small swallow not a sip anymore. Wooo Hoooo!! I am drinking some protein drinks. They have to be very cold though. I put them in my bullet with a lot of ice and make slush. Lol.. The ice cold feels so good. Every day seems to get better.
You have lost 80lbs already!!! Holy..that is sooooo awesome! You are half way to goal. How are you feeling? What foods work for you? I can't wait to try yogurt and cottage cheese. I am craving it.
Lastnight I had the excess spit that I had to keep spitting out. I think I took in too much water. At least I didnt throw up!! No more of that LOL
If I have more questions I will let you know. Right now everything is trial and error I find.
If I dont talk to you in the next few days I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and all the best to you in the New Year!!

Yes Dr. Garcia was very nice. I seen him a few times there. He was concerned for me and said it would be best to stay one more night.

Sounds like the Marriot would have been a bit better. Oh well. Air conditioners work well for white noise. Lol. Yes! Definitely better than a strip mall!
I have to make light of everything now. Im just happy to be a sleever now

Yes it was Dr. Luna. He spoke very good english. He said he grew up watching Amercian tv shows. He looks waaaaay too young to be a doctor.
Dont feel guilty for your positive experience. You are very fortunate and blessed. I am also just as fortunate and blessed

I am Day 1 and already have blown through 2 IV's (hoping the third time is the charm) and have 4 more holes in my hands /arms from attempted IV's. Ai Ai Ai! Keep up the good healing!

I am glad I read this I am not concerned about choicing this Doctor the lady on the phone has been so nice and is why I was thinking of going with this place so maybe I need to keep looking.
