    Default Sensitive to the cold???

Hi all, I'm 6 1/2 months out of surgery living in Northern Indiana and I CAN NOT GET WARM!! Is anyone else more sensitive to the cold than they were before? I know I'm not as well insulated as I was last winter but this is insane, I'm sitting at my desk (our office is around 73 degrees) wishing I had an electric blanket to wrap up in!! Still loving my sleeve but wondering if i'm crazy

Not crazy. I've gone from needing the fan on all night long under a thin blanket wearing only boxers to wearing a tshirt and pajama bottoms underneath the sheets and blanket without a fan. I think the lack of food to burn in the belly causes this.

You're not crazy. I've known others to be cold sensitve. I'm usually so hot..if I wasn't made of 60% water, I would probably spontaneously combust!

I live in the upper Midwest and am cold all the time now, too. One word: LAYERS. And, I keep throw blankets on my sofa and chairs. On the upside, I doubt we'll be sweating so much next summer :-)

Sheesh...and here I was thinking I was the only one freezing all the time! ha! Yes, we've lost our "fat blanket" and what a difference! I NEVER used to even wear a coat ALL winter long and it wasn't unheard of for me to walk barefoot - in the snow - to go out and get the mail. Now...I have this tiny comfort zone...68 degrees and below and I'm shivering with goosebumps...70 and above and I'm dying of heat! My hubby laughs at me...he says"it's NEAT" because he used to think I was crazy because I never got COLD! Now I start shivering and he loves it because it means all that extra insulaton I was carrying around is GONE! Just remember...you can always put more on to get warm, but before the sleeve we could never take enough off to get cool! ChaiDi
