Thanks everyone, your kind words are very appreciated. I baby stepped my way on to the plane and taking off soon.
I had to laugh at your post because the surgery was not my main worry, it was the plane ride. I don't usually fly, and hadn't flown since the 80's so that was my main scary thought. good luck to you!!

I LOVE that movie! lol Yes, baby steps will get you to the right place. I was in the same frame of mind you are. Outside I was cool and calm, but inside I was a mess! I convinced hubby that I was fine going alone and by golly I wasn't going to show any signs of weakness, but my internal dialog was one never ending "you can do it" mantra. That first step is the biggest. I'm sending you prayers and positive thoughts.
Hi John,
By the time you read this you will be sleeved. I have 12 more sleeps to go before I am in the hands of Dr. Garcia. I am going through anxiety, sadness, excited, overwhelmed, worried, scared, uncertainty, cry at the drop of a hat......and YES frantic!!!! I can definitely relate. I hope all went well. Hugs and prayers sent your way
