first post-op visit with surgeon.....51 lbs down.

I am so thrilled and excited all at once. I am down 51 lbs since the beginning of my journey. I have lost 14 lbs since surgery, 12 on my pre-op diet, and 25 with the help of my nutritionist and fitness instructor. On top of that I have been cleared to move on to pureed food. Never thought I would be so happy to eat blended food.

Wow, you are doing really awesome! What do your nutritionist and fitness instructor help with? I am considering getting a trainer once I am cleared for lifting and such after my surgery but not really sure what to expect.

My nutritionist is awesome. She gives great advice and a strict guideline for each diet phase. She gives out recipes and great suggestions go keep me on track. My fitness instructor gave me from the start goals and strength training drills to help to prevent sagginess. My surgeon demanded repeated visits with both before and after surgery. I think it's awesome that I was given such a large support team. I am very thankful.
