Hey everyone, would yall be willing to share what a day of eating is like for you after 3 or 4 weeks? I am wondering how it all pans out over time. Thank you so much.
I am nearly 6 weeks but I started soft foods right around the 3-4 week mark... I found some great recipes on Pinterest for egg "muffins"... a egg, some frozen hash browns, bacon bits, and some cheese... baked at 350 until done in a muffin tin... I do about 10 at a time and I have two weeks of breakfasts... I eat one every day. Helps with my protein levels.. Lunch is sometimes shrimp with a slice of cucumber or some deli meat with some fresh vegetables. Dinner is pretty much anything I want except very little and very slowly.. I drink lots of water and special K protein powders. I had my first salad a few days ago and it was great... small but great...
Hope that helps you...
welcome. I haven't had my surgery so I can't really help but I wanted to say congratulations a best wishes.
I am seven weeks out and let me tell you if your feeling frustrated thats okay cause it does not last long. After about 4 weeks is when i started feeling better and after you can eat more foods its also gets better. I stuck to my soups and mash potatoes. My doctor told me not to worry about the protein for the first few weeks cause our bodies have some stored. Our weights are similar so i hope this helps you. i have had some stalls so dont get upset about that cause they do come but go away. Any questions send me a message i will help you out the best i can. Good Luck in your journey.
