    Default Question about Energy......

HI. I am new to this site. On Tuesday of next week I will start my two weeks pre-op liquid diet. I am excited. It is strange how fast this process has gone since I decided to have the sleeve done. I think that I will spent the weekend doing all those little jobs that need to be accomplished before winter.....because just because it is 65 degrees here in Eastern Utah today, it might be snowing tomorrow? I was wondering if those of you that have had the surgery notice a lack of energy during the pre-op and/or after the surgery? I am really active and I am concerned about this aspect more than anything else. Thanks for your comments

Welcome and yes, the first week you will need to take it slow but in time your energy level will increase. The surgery is major and your insides will need time to heal. Remember not to move too fast to soon or you will bottom out. Listen to your body and do what it tells you to do. Hope everything goes well for you.

In the begining you will feel like you have no energy and it will last for a while until you recover then as you lose more weight you will pep back up. I myself have to take B12 shots and B12 pills but everyone is different

~ doesn't think she'll ever reach her original weight, no matter HOW hard she tries. Hell, let's face it, 8lb 10oz is not very realistic is it?

Welcome and Best of luck on your weight loss journey. Every one is different but when my daughter had her surgery we had to hold her down and make her rest. She had lots of energy and had no complications at all. She went out shopping about every day and it was a good thing when she went back to work or she would have gone broke.

Highest weight 440 lbs. lowest weight 9.5 lbs at birth
    Date of surgery weight 340
    12 week checkup 301 BMI <50 yeah!
Weight on birthday 3/24/48 Goal 285 would be nice.
