10-10-11. The day of my happy miracle. WOW. What can I say? It's just been a wonderful journey so far, and I thank god and you all for being there with me through it.

Today I decided to take a walk in a new neighborhood and I was so full of energy and thinking about how 83 lbs gone is so liberating!!!! I found an outdoor staircase with 45 stairs and I ran down and up it about 10 times. Then I found a paseo that had a fantastic view. There was an abandoned rubber ball in my path and I ran after it, kicking it like a soccer player down the path. At the end of the path was a deserted playground. I climbed the rock wall to the tower where 2 long tubular slides were. I dared to go down the first one...wheeeeeee....and up again I went. At 50 years old, I feel like a kid again! I am celebrating today. I am SO glad I had this surgery. These pictures show befores and afters. The day of surgery at Jeruselem Clinic. The day after surgery on a donkey in TJ! The beach with Lindsey after I had lost 25 lbs a few years ago (they all came back on). Me at my HS 30 yr reunion (ugh!)...the others are very recent...Last week in Germany for Oktoberfest...so much fun, and my relatives there were happily shocked when they saw me again! I fit into that Dirndle dress that my cousin lent me and it was just SO MUCH FUN (and no, I didn't drink that beer!!!)

Dr. Almanza, thank you for providing your services at a price I could afford. Thank you to my mom, for your support and cheering thru this...I know you didn't want to see me end up like you. Thank you to all my youtube supporters. Thank you to all of you on here who helped me when I needed it. All of your stories have helped me along the way. I am going to start exercising now...lol...honestly! Hoping to lose those last 17 lbs...and I WILL!!!

Blush!!! I wish some hot, straight, single guy would notice!!!!!!! I thought being thinner would cure my single girl woes...but so far...well, I get dates but nobody I really want to carry on with. SOON! NOW! Bring on the nice, good looking guys (there has to be ONE of them somewhere!!!)
