Question post sleeve oddity - loud concert noise

Went to a Heart concert last night. I'm a fan club member so I had seats in the 5th row. Got them in April as my dropped a 100 lbs gift to myself.
Good thing - fit in the seat no problem at all, with room to spare.
    Bad/weird thing...
We were sitting in front of the speakers - and it was cold out (I'm getting there)... hubby got me some tea to sip and I did slowly for about an hr before the show. Drank about 12 oz of it I'd say.
Show starts, and the bass kicks in those massive speakers... and you know how you can feel it all the way through your body? Well, about 10 minutes in I get nauseous and 5 min after that I'm in the bathroom losing all my tea. I felt it start coming up at my seat and grabbed my cup and then hightailed it to the loo, luckily close by. People must have thought I was drunk (I dont drink)...
It was as though the bass literally shook my sleeve too much and pushed the liquid back up. We finished the show in empty seats farther from the stage with the usher's permission...but isn't that odd? the sound waves just hit so hard.... weird...
Oh, it was 90 min after dinner so while it's possible I still had food hanging around I don't think that was an issue...
Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience...

Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.

I actually HAVE had that happen! It wasn't at an arena of any sort like your experience, but at a little corner bar. The band was so loud that my eyeballs were vibrating and I wasn't drunk in the least. (Sort of felt like it though becuase the nausea made me stumble around a bit?) I ended up outside losing my iced tea on someone's front lawn ~ all from the noise. Weird, weird, weird.
But I have also been to a couple of concerts since then (Motley Crue & Kiss most recently - and they are LOUD) with no issues. I wonder if this is one of those random flukey kind of things that we just have to be ready for if it randomly decides to show up?

Back when I was young and extremely skinny, I always had that problem.. I was the one person who did not want front row tickets.. You have to remember that there is less padding (fat) between the sound waves and your new (sometimes sensitive) tummy... I can see that happening again one day :-) Oh what a problem to have!

Grace, I had a similar experience recently. I've been having PT for the past few days and when the therapist uses the high intensity massager on my mid back, the vibrations make me nauseated. I've had PT in the past, and never had this happened before my sleeve. I'm not really sure what to make of it.

It's probably a combination of less fat (yay!), being so close to the speakers, etc.
I am more of a feelings/empathic type than the scientific type but did note from research that titanium is a very good conductor of sound waves... kind of wondered if perhaps all those staples in there were enjoying the party

If you can feel the music in your bones, it's way too loud and you need hearing protection.

That is the Audiologist in me coming out.

Oh, never fear - we were wearing sponge earplugs. I already have 50% hearing loss in one ear from a virus as a teenager.
