how young you look

Since my op every one is saying to me how well you look and how much younger i look! i am 5 weeks post op now.
You don't know yourself how the weight ages you.

I get that too. Yesterday one of our visiting docs came and he didn't recognize me at first. Lol

I "get" this. Several years ago, my husband was very ill. He had lost a lot of weight, and it was one of many times that we were at the hospital. One of the nurses came in to do his vitals, and asked me how my "Son" was doing tonight. My husband was nearly 2 years younger than I, but ummmm, didn't look like my son.

I KNOW it was because of my weight, I felt horrible.

That is one of my favorite nsv's is the "you look younger" comment. I had no idea that was going to happen...nice huh?
