    Default 3 months post-op

Well it's now been 3 months since I was sleeved and I am feeling great!
I have lost 33lbs since my surgery which was 5/29/2012 and 53 since 1/2012.
Lost quite a few inches which is great and people are starting to notice. I am at my lowest weight I have been in who knows how many years!!

As far as eating goes I had steak for the first time a couple days ago and it seemed to go well, didn't want to push it though so I stopped after about 2 or 3 bites. The only food I am really having a hard time with is pork. I have tried all kinds of pork cooked different ways and for some reason it just does not like me. I am lucky if I am able to keep it down 10min. Oh well, I can't complain....small price to pay concidering how much better I am feeling!

I too had the surgery when you did. Keep up the good work! I started with steak (filet only) about 1-1/2 months out and tolerate it well, but can't eat but about 4-5 small pieces, which means I get to enjoy filet for 3-4 meals now. I only have trouble with higher fat meats such as ground beef or sausage. Again, keep up the good work and we'll meet our goals soon enough.

    Congratulations! Way to go!!
I had trouble with all pork except bacon. It took me several months before I could tolerate it normally. Strange, huh?

It wonderful to hear that you are feeling great. But sorry that you are having problems with the pork, But I was reading about the fact we are different. could be why you can't handle something that someone else maybe can. You have a great spirit and I know you will reach your goal. I look forward to getting where you are now. Take care.

Way to go! Don't push it..you'll regret it! If something doesn't sit well with you...don't eat it.
    Keep up the great work!
