Well I've started the ball rolling in my journey. I attended a seminar last week and now have scheduled the consultation with the surgeon for Sept. 5th. I'm just curious as to how long everyone had to wait from that point to the actual surgery. The gal who takes care of the insurance said that my insurane only requires 1 vistit ea to the nutritionist and psychiatrist. My deductible has been met for the year so I was hoping to have it done by the end of the year. Im hoping I'm approved

It only took a month and a half from 1st visit to surgery. Not long at all. I'm thankful to my Ins Co for approving my surgery.

It really depends on your insurance.

I also was only required 1 visit to each and my surgery was 2 months and a day from my first dr. visit. Good luck.... you should be fine as long as your ins. doesn't hang you up.

My 1st appointment was on May 3rd, and surgery was on June 25th! I am so very thankful all went so smoothly and quickly!
