I am ready, but also alittle scared. I just don't want to deal with complications. It isn't too hard to be positive but I am worried about nausea and vomiting. Do many of you have problems with this after the initial post-op period, anesthesia, meds in system?

we are all different, I was very worried about being sick to my tummy after having my op..... they give you anti nausea meds in your IV to control vomitting, and as far as pain it was more discomfort for me than pain, but I did hit my morphine button as instructed by my nurse. They sent me home with liquid percocet (NASTY minty/cherry crap!) Took it a few times, okay took it to where the taste didn't bother me....(I have a 7 & 2 yr old) I had more mental stress than pain if that makes sense..... You will be FINE! Follow the guidelines, the doctors do know what they are talking about!
