YOU LOOK EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN WHEN YOU STARTED THIS JOURNEY!!! Way to go!!!! The hair thing is a pain in the drain be sure to take your biotin and continue even after your surgeries. My sister (who does my hair when I go back to IA) said that she didn't think my hair has ever been this healthy. I believe it is because of the biotin---I was just sure that I was going to be bald with the amount that was falling out, now I find that it is REALLY important to get (for me) 80-100 grams of protein a day to maintain healthy hair. (actually I have heard that it takes 30 days for protein to register into your body) I am not a scientist nor do I remember half the Stuff------ that I read ---- so , I could have it all confused---I really do believe that half of my memory faculties left with the 85% of my stomach that was removed. OH---and John, if you are on here---YES I GET MY HAIR DONE (cut) in between trips back to Iowa!!!! Blessings- Connie

Thanks everyone! I really don't have loose skin yet, maybe I will once I lose some more weight. My thighs and arms definitely need toning though--they look like cottage cheese in a sock! lol I think I will definitely need to get my breasts done also so I will prolly go to Mexico next year. I take the Opurity multivitamin everyday, a hair/skin/nails vitamin, calcium, subling b12, and dexilant for acid reflux. I still drink 1 or 2 protein drinks a day.

Without a doubt, this is the best thing I have ever done for myself.

You look AMAZING! I would also never guess you were over 200 lbs at this point!! You look a lot smaller than that! Good job!

Wow! You've done a phenomenal job!! I agree with Britiajon - wish I had done this 20 years ago. Thankfully, my daughter is having the surgery in a few months - it will save her years of agony of yoyo-ing with hundreds of pounds. Congratulations again!
