Unhappy Hope I haven't messed up too bad

I am on vacation and have had a few things I wasn't supposed to eat like 3 French fries and a couple of servings of Doritos - not all at once. I ate 1/2 peach today and a 1 inch square of peach cobbler.

I haven't eaten much of the bad stuff but I sure hope I didn't slow down my weight loss

I eat stuff like that occasionally - you seem like you have lost plenty in just 66 days!

I wouldn't worry. I've gone to gatherings and helped myself to cornbread, peach cobbler, jambalaya, pasta salad and tortilla chips all in the same evening (I tend to graze at parties). It won't slow you down doing it once a month. If you did it every day or even 4 times a week however, then it might hinder you. Don't worry, you're fine!

This is about learning to live your life not learning to be on a lifelong diet. There is nothing wrong with enjoying food. It's all about balance and moderation. Have an awesome vacation!

I can't imagine that you are truly worried about eating three french fries. It sounds more like your concern is that you have "fallen off the wagon" while on vacation, are feeling a bit guilty about it, and concerned about what that might mean in the long term. Just get back on the wagon, that's all there is to it. Pick up some healthy snacks and carry them with you, so that when you are hungry you have something better to eat. Sometimes traveling causes us to break out of our routines, and not in a good way... so be prepared with healthy snacks. If you do happen to have a few fries or chips, don't fret over it. You will be fine. Let it motivate you to work harder the rest of the week.

    Enjoy your vacation!
