Very common. I went through this several weeks after surgery. Once you are eating more normally your BMs will become much more normal. Hang in there!

If you are drinking milk or whey product you may have become sensitive to lactose or whey since surgery. It happens. Otherwise, could it be a new vitamin or other drink maybe one with a sf sweetener you aren't used to?

~ doesn't think she'll ever reach her original weight, no matter HOW hard she tries. Hell, let's face it, 8lb 10oz is not very realistic is it?

You could just have a mild tummy bug. Hope you feel better soon...I hate the bubbly crampy feeling...It's almost unpredictable....and that can be dangerous! lol

Sometimes liquid stools are not caused by what we are eating or drinking. It can also be caused by a GI bug, and/or disrupted balance of the natural flora (good bugs) of our GI tract. A course of good quality PROBIOTICS helps restore the normal flora of the gut. I had problems after surgery and just a few probiotics settled things down.

I have not had a normal bowl movement since my surgery in late March. My system is too sensative for anything to "harden" it up some. It doesnt matter what I eat, its the same. And some tea in the morning really gets things moving..lol Sorry to be graphic but it's true. I have spoken to my friends that have had similar surgeries several months before I had mine and they have the same problems.

Graphic here is good other wise we would not know NORMAL for one s not for another, that is what this fourm is each input helps another, intentions of helping is such a blessing and guidance. Some day these surgeons need to get things together and have better guide lines for both post and pre ops so there isn't so much variances in this journey, blessings to all
