I had my sleeve done the 19th, and im doing fabuolus! i did have it done down here in mexico and i would do it again in a heart beat.
We go to the hospital about 10 am, so we had some time just to relax in the room. Since i hadnt slept the night before (we had to be at the airport at 3am) i was pretty exhausted, i fell asleep, i proceeded to sleep thru my bloodwork, ekg and was asleep when they brought me into the OR, was only woken to help move myself to the or table, but went right back to sleep. The surgery was only about and hr and i woke up in recovery feeling just fine. After being moved back to myroom and being given some pain medicine, i was able to get up and walk around. i was apparently blowing ppls minds bc i was up smiling and walking like it wasnt a thing. After my first night in the hospital that next after noon i was able to start with ice chips, which honestly werte the most divine thing i have ever tasted in my life, and then shortly after i was given tea apple juice and some jello, which again was the most amazing thing ever. After my barrium study they said i was doing so well that if i wanted i could go to the hotel a night early , which i gladly said yes to. Again i stuck with some hot tea n brooth for dinner, it was funny bc i was like omg im starving and like 3 sips later i was like full!
But the biggest thing i can say is WALK WALK WALK, omg did that help me so much. walking would srsly make my pains go away. and as soon as your able to, shower u will feel like a brand new person!
BUT IM SLEEVED AND ON TO A WHOLE NEW ME!
