I'm wondering what is everyones "safe" foods are? The foods that go down the best without any gas, bloating, running to the toilet ect. For me I find cottage cheese goes down smooth with no bad effects.

Towards the beginning mine were greek yogurt, apple sauce, and soups. Now at week 6 it's all up in the air. Some days i can eat chicken, some days it just doesn't sit well. That's been happening with all foods i'm starting to eat. It really stinks but I signed up for this and i have no regrets.
i also find sugar free jello goes down with no side effects
I can tell you it is different for everyone. Foods that did not sit well with me was beans, eggs, lentil soup accelerated my heart. I did really bad with chicken specially all white meat. black beans bloated me. try eating watermelon and cantelope fruits sat well with me.
Egg drop soup!
At 4 weeks out as far as solid food goes, meatloaf went down wonderfully with no side effects. And fruit with skins (at least cherries anyway) have been so good.....even though I can only eat like 3! LOL! And soft cooked scrambled eggs made with cottage cheese have been my go-to foods they last few days.
I scramble an egg with one of those light babybel cheeses, thyme, salt & pepper. This seems to go down the easiest. My pouch does NOT like cottage cheese, though! Also, I made a ricotta bake the other day and that went down really well.
I assume you are only able to eat 1 scrambled egg. I'm hoping on tuesday after my next appointment I get to go to soft mushy foods. I'm so over this liquid only diet.......

LOL! I can't even eat the whole egg......I should have said scrambled egg. The kids and I went out for breakfast Thursday (hotel stay and I didn't plan very well) and I had maybe a 1/3 of two scrambled eggs, 1/3 piece of bacon, nibble of toast and 3 small bites of fruit and it was just right and it all went down easy, although I found that eating bacon sucks when you have to chew chew chew!
Last night I was really craving a meatloaf sandwich so I thinly sliced some and put it on a tortilla with some ketchup and mayo and now before anyone is all up in arms about the condiments, the whole things was slightly smaller than of a deck of cards, but half as thin. It was so good and satisfying and I was happy to know I could find a smaller, healthier way to eat my favorites. The meatloaf was made w/half ground beef and 1/2 ground turkey and I use oats instead of bread or crackers.
It's crazy how I'm not hungry ,but seeing you all post this food makes me want an egg with cheese. I love my sleeve ,but right now I'm on liquid until the first of Aug. they are letting me take a little thicker soups and blend ,but I can't have much so I have a fridge full of it lol
I have also found vienna sausage in a can goes down really well, it is so soft it just turns to mush in your mouth and tastes good.
