Guilty!

I started my pre op diet on monday and its been SO hard! I did ok until tonight..... I ate 6 Dunkin Donut munchkin holes =(

I feel horribly guilty!! I wanted to stick my finger down my throat almost instantly after i swallowed the last one. I dont know why i did it, I wasnt even hungry. I was weak and i failed. Just wanted to share this because i need to be held accountable for what i did.

Don't worry about it! I think all of us have slipped a time or two on our journey. You still have plenty of time to shrink your liver before surgery. If you have a sweet craving, try Werther's sugar-free hard candies. Only 8 calories each and very satisfying!

Some docs don't even require a pre-op diet. You'll be fine.

Honestly...the 1 thing we all joked about while headed to the clinic from the airport...was how many "last meals" we all had while on the pre op diet. Its okay girl. Just pick yourself up and keep going. The next tuime you get the urge, throw them away, give them to the dog, and/or remove them from site.

What a loser...haha get it? loser? weight-loser?? lol ...you'll be fine, get back in that pilot seat and fly straight. Now post-op you better behave because that's how many stretch their new banana sized stomachs....
