Well my first goal was to be 165 and here I am 152. Going from a size 18 to a 6 in such a short time has been surreal. Any tips to maintain? I feel like I've upped my fat/carb intake and bam lost another couple lbs.
I know... Rough life eh!?! lol
Sorry, no advice from me as I'm not there yet but hope to be before my first surgiversary. What does your doctor advise or the nutritionist? I don't know how many calories you were averaging prior to wanting to stop dropping the pounds, but I think they suggest you get between 1000-1200 a day to maintain. You probably have to play with the numbers now and find your magic formula. Good luck! Great job!!!!
You're going through the same as I am. I'm nearly at my goal and have started thinking how I'm going to stop losing. Of coarse the weight loss has slowed down alot, but I'm still losing! The bad thing is that I'm so used to eating healthy that I can't bring myself to eating junks like before...I just can't. The only thing I manage to do is eat a couple of small pieces of chocolates now and then, but that's it really. I've stopped exercising (a loooong time ago), I try to eat as much as possible (which is nothing really) and I can't dare put soda or alcohol in my mouth (never again I say) so i really have no foods to turn to for weight gain...I'm praying my body will just stop by itself. Would love to know how you manage.
I am in a similar boat...Have surpassed my goal by 11.2 pounds. Not complaining, but my husband says if I get into the 120's, he's calling my surgeon and asking him if he left a hole in my stomach.
I have never in life had this problem, I'm afraid I cannot advise you, but I'd love to hear what others have to say about this, just in case I find myself losing too much. As if! LOL!
track you calories and then add 500 more a day or more just one high cal protien shake could do the trick.
