I barely eat and am constipated!

I have been eating soft foods now for two weeks. At first everything was fine and I could eat about 1/2 of a scrambled egg. I can eat a little bit more now, but it has made me so constipated. Has anyone experienced this same thing? If so, what was your remedy? I already have IBS and am on Amitza. Any others??

yes take a stool softner.

Miralax but if u go too long a stool softened or desperate take laxitive! I have fought this since surgery! Bad side effect for me!

Welcome to the club. I used a stool softener and if needed a suppository to help break up the block. Had to do that a few times early on, now All working just fine thank you. Hope that helps.

I eat 2 fiber "gummies" every day and it has really helped me become "regular". Good luck! This is a bad side effect from surgery!

Once you can have shakes, add some benefiber to each one to help. Until then, miralax, milk of magnesia, or smooth move tea may help....
I highly suggest coconut milk for your shakes. Natural laxative....since I started using it for my daily shake along with 1 tsp of benefiber I am regular again!
