I'm not going to count calories. I'm not going to track every bite. I'm not going to shame myself for a bite of the "wrong foods". I did all of that when I was in the "struggle of hopelessness" before my surgery. What I have learned is to adopt a healthy lifestyle, what that means for me is, I will follow my surgeons directions exactly. I'm going to try and get 80 grams of protein daily, exercise at least 30 mins daily, and drink lots of water (and I don't drink anything with calories or sugar). I know that as long as I'm doing all of that, I don't have to be all crazy paranoid over my weight. I'm so happy I had this surgery. My life is on a great track and the best part is I'M FINALLY HAPPY! Good luck, everyone!
