Question I was told by one of my friends that she knows someone who had the sleeve and is on diet pills. Do you all take them with your sleeve ?

Never heard of it. I take too many vitamins etc to consider making room for something like that!

Yes that is what I thought too. She must not want to eat or something. I think that would be dangerous
If this person or anyone else is taking diet pills I would question their thinking in their "head" first of all. I think probably most of us made the decision to have the sleeve to stop the yo-yo dieting was someone else said and to not be stuck in that old mindset and running on the hamster wheel! I can't imagine any reason to ever be taking diet pills with the sleeve. Hopefully this person is not bordering on anorexia.
You guys, I met a lady online who had been sleeved who started taking Alli pills after a regain. She said she used them to help get back to her original lowest weight. She told me that since the sleeve is the first part of the duodenal switch surgery and that the DS has malabsorption of fats---how is it any different than getting the DS? I don't know what I think about it. I mean, I know Alli is not one of those pills that makes you twitchy and hyper, and that it just blocks fat--but still. I have to think that something wasn't quite right with her diet to need to go back on pills. I do think that stimulant pills after the sleeve is not a good idea.
I don't take diet pills but I know some people like myself don't find the control others do with the sleeve because they still have "head hunger". Maybe she is taking something to help with "head hunger".... I take a medication for migraine prevention that one of the side effects helps with head hunger. Since starting this medication the sleeve works better for me, most likely much like it works for others. I have a friend that tried the same medication but she didn't the same help I get from it.
No, Never heard of that.
