First Post-OP Appt results

I lost 33 pounds in almost 2 weeks, WTF!!! Im excited and nervous about starting soft foods. YIKES!!

I can eat a scrambled egg, Cheese of any kind except cream cheese, Plain yogurt, Baked/Grilled fish, Canned ham or tuna (add mayo for misture, mashed potatoes, cream of wheat (YUK), Vegetarian refried beans (hmm) and unsweetned applesauce.

I can eat 3-4 times a day but only 2 oz at a time. I guess its off to the grocery store for me.

That's awesome! I go see my PCP tomorrow to check on my diabetes so am anxious to see what it shows. I have been retaining fluid so I doubt I will have results that good but I know it coming. I go Monday for my post-op to take out my staples - they wouldnt let my PCP do it.

Good luck! My first post-op appt is tomorrow. I'm glad I didn't have staples! Eek.

That's phenomenal! Way to go...keep up the great work. Stick to what the dr. orders and you'll be good to go for your weight loss journey. I know you've started like gang busters, but I'll be the voice also of preparation here too...your body will not always respond like this so be prepared. To me, each day on this journey of healthier living and getting in touch with our inner reasons why we are overweight...that's what it's all about. The additional reward is the weight loss that goes with it. The more we know ourselves and can work on changing our not so good habits, the better we'll be. Keep up the great work and keep us posted especially with some pictures along the way. Rock that sleeve! Yeah!
