1st plateau

i had my surgery 5 1/2 weeks ago
I lost 35 lbs, the first month, but nothing in the last week
How long before i should change my routine to get back going again

I lost 20 lbs in 10 days then hit a plateau for 3 weeks. Just make sure you increase your protein and food intake to get the calories in and walk and start toning up. You may not lose pounds but lose inches instead so measure yourself and don't stress over it. I am 6 months out and 85 lbs down with 15 left to go to reach the doctors goal of 100 and 30 lbs to reach my goal of being under and I still stall for 3 weeks at a time but I average 15-20 lbs in the 10-12 days I do lose weight. Stick to raw fruits and veggies and high protein items and working out and it will pass, you will see as your body will get into a routine of lose, stall, lose and stall so your muscle memory can come back to avoid the extra skin.

I'm 18lbs down but haven't lost in 11 days. I'm not-so-patiently waiting for the weight loss to resume. Good luck

It does happen and your body needs time to adjust, keep following your plan and it will start again when it is ready. Stats say that the overage loss is 10lbs a month, so everyone of you are already ahead of the game.

I know that is not what you wanted to hear, but it is the truth.

I drink more water and vary my calories each day. I have only plateaued about 4 days. When I don't see any pounds lost in 2 days, I up my water. This has worked for me.
