Medicine to prevent gallstones!! YuCK!!

So, I am four days out and since Ive been home i've had to take Actigall. Its to prevent gallstones and I have to take it for the next six months. They say they are very common with rapid weight loss and if it does occur you have to have your gall bladder removed. Its in a capsule so I cant swallow it just yet, I have to open it and dissolve it in whatever i want to drink it with. I am having an extremely hard time with it because its absolutely disgusting! I tried mixing it in the protein drink and I almost threw up, then i mixed it in some warm water as suggested by my nurse, that didn't work and my latest even though Im not at this stage yet I have mixed it with an ounce of unsweetened applesauce and that has been the easiest of all! But im still left with that nasty med after taste in my mouth. Is there anybody who went through this or is going through this and have some ideas??

Danger Alyssa that sucks. Had my gallbladder removed 4 years ago, had two 1" marbles in it and it was swollen the size of a banana.

I have three little ones and I def dont want to have to worry about another hospital stay and recovery time, do not want any trouble lol so i am taking it regardless because I know it will help. Im sure i'll be fine once i can swallow them in a few weeks!

I just started it two weeks ago. It is disgusting and the pill is the size of our stomachs. Unsweetened applesauce has been ok, yogurt wasn't to bad. I just started swallowing them today but they feel like the just sit in my belly.
