I'm not a man but it's my understanding that most men drop weight much faster than we women...bugger! That's ok though as you guys have more lean muscle than we do. Hope some men respond to your post.

I was sleeved on 5/30.. Right now I'm losing about a pound a day. I'm on soft foods. The only trouble I'm having is the regimen. I have to deliberately eat and drink which has not been an easy adjustment for me. I've had no problems with hair loss, and haven't had six yet. I do have much more energy, however. I figure that can only pay dividends. I feel great...

I will be 8 weeks out of surgery on Monday and today I hit a milestone.....50.4 lbs lost since the start of the pre-op diet on April 2. Since I crept up on it slowly over 4 days going back and forth, I am going to see if I remain past 50 tomorrow, and if I do, I'm gonna reward myself with a soft serve ice cream cone. I'm exercising almost daily, burning 400+ calories per day and getting all my protein and calories in just about every day. I am finding that chicken, fish, beef and pork are hard for me to eat. Seems like I can only get about 2 oz down before I start feeling full. Veggies, beans and small pasta bowls (Chef Boyardee) are much easier to handle as long as I watch total calories, fat and proteins.

Hello Xavier, another male here. My GS is scheduled for July 18th. Cannot honestly speak for all your questions other than I need to lose 100 lbs.

I've read your penis is going to get bigger/longer with every 20 lbs or so you lose. Yay, right? LOL

I don't know it it will brake ice or not but your penis doesn't really grow, just the landscape around it shrinks so more shows. That I know is true .

I am 6 weeks out this past Wednesday and feeling great. Finally getting my energy back and being able to lift and work around the house is good. I was bumming a bit not being able to do any work around the house.

Can't comment on hair loss because if you saw under my hat that ship has sailed anyway.

your at that 10 day mark. i found that during that first week or two i was cranky because i still missed food mentaly. wasnt hunger just used to having it. my schedule at work is keeping me from working out like i like but am back to running/jogging mile and a half around 2-3 times a week. next month when i go to a diffrent shift thinking about starting the insanity workouts. O yea a a big milestone for me this week, i can drink 2-3 gulps of water in one drink after working out. i know that may sound odd but i couldnt stand not being able to get a big drink more that getting food down. lol
