Hello thanks for the welcome. I am doing fine. still some soreness from the surgery but minor no pain pills needed. back to normal routine. on soft foods now and that only equals about 6 bites then I am full.

Hi glad your doing well. I am seven days today and each day is better. I am still on liquid diet when did you start soft foods? I wonder if every doctor is different? Anyway welcome and I am pretty new on here to

What kind of food are you eating 18 days out? Do you take a few bites and get full? I am still on liquids, yogurt, and cream of wheat, I think purred comes next. I made my own soup in my vita mixer and I am trying to get extra protein that way. I put a whole cooked chicken breast problem is can only take a half of cup and it made a whole bunch of soup, so not sure I am that far ahead on protein grams darn. I just don't like the protein shakes, I am sure its all in my head. Anyway glad I found this forum!

right now I am eating chili from Wendy's only about 4-5 spoon fulls at a time , greek yogurt, deviled eggs scrambled eggs and string cheese fish crab cakes

I started soft foods middle of may. it was 3 weeks post surgery. I go back july 30

I really enjoyed mashed potatoes and cream of wheat. I know there's no protein in them, but they sure tasted good! Cottage cheese might be a good thing too. Best of luck!
