My garden is popping!!! Best ive had in years!!! Makes me wonder when i can eat

1) tomatos
2)cucumbers
3) greens.... Mustard greens....mmmmmmmmm good!!!!

Because I had surgery the same day as you I have no idea when we can have them. Although they sound great right now! Hope u r doing well! Marcie

Thanks marcie.... I got a little ahead of my self today and got hot. Its hard for my to do nothing. I even took a bite if beef jerkey today. My wife has put the clamps on me. She thinks ive lost my mind! I promised her i would slow down. I ama supervisor in a glass plant and i know how hot it will be next week when i go back. I just feel like im not ready for it yet.

How long did you take off from work since surgery date?

I worked the day before and plan on going back after 14 days off...

wow, my doctor was adamant about taking off 4 weeks of work..and as he said, do not even think about going back early.. I know all doctors are different.. mine was so right though..When i got back to work, I forgot to drink and sometimes eat..not good...

My doctor is saying 4 wks at least. I was hoping for less. It seems that most on here recommend 4 wks. I will see.

He says 4 weeks two but at the end of the day even though i get my full salary i dont get my weekly bonus checks that are as much as most people make in a week. I will be careful but im trying to stack money as high as i can so i can retire early... It is what it is. They take great care of me at work and my job is why this surgery cost me less than 500.00 total.

I understand that. I am just trying to see what has been good for past sleevers. I know you have been where I am. I do plan on a early return to work. I will see. Got to get sleeved first.

well then I do not blame you in that case..I actually work at the doctors office who did my sleeve and everytime he or the other doc who assisted walked past me, they remind me to drink..lol

I must be an uber fatty cause I am so ready to eat and it's been 2 days! LOL

I had my 5 week post-op visit yesterday and my PA released me of all diet restrictions (actually 5.5 weeks... I think 6 weeks is average to get released). I had green beans and other soft veggies with no skins on about week 4 when I started puree/soft foods phase...

Also, I went back to work 14 days after my surgery, which is what my Center recommended. Now grant it, I have a desk job, so that may be why my release for work was 1/2 of what you guys are being told.....
