1 week Post Op

Hi All-
Today is one week post op! I sort of feel tired today and just sore (think it is from sleeping on my back for so long)! I have one more week with this drain tube... can't stand it anymore! I am doing good with protein as far as I can tell. The dr wants me to do shakes but they just don't settle really good at all. I have been doing unflavored protein with everything that goes in my mouth so I think I am getting around 60 - 80 grams a day. Otherwise I feel fine just sort of sore and black and blue where they has stabbed me so much! I also still have to take heparin shots for two weeks.. but otherwise going to start walking 30 mins a day I was cleared for that today.

Weight wise I am down 20 lbs in one week! Around 40lbs from the start of pre op diet 30 days out! I think I am going to love my sleeve...

Congratulations! I got my sleeve exactly one month before you and I do love it!!! It gets easier every day, just take it slow and let your body have the time it needs to heal. Wishing you continued success!

How much pain are you in? And how long until you can go back to work?
