hi all
I am 7 months out and starving all the time. I have been in a stall for 2 months and only lost 50 Pds since surgery. I am afraid in won't reach my goal because I am hungry all the time. Please help.
You could be thirsty. I doubt that you're hungry. My doctor said lots of people confuse the two feelings. Make sure you drink at least 64 oz of water a day. I was having a similar problem. Now the only time i feel "snackier" is when i'm about to start my menstrual cycle(tmi?)
I;m hungry a LOT too, so I eat a lot of very small meals and snacks about 3 oz at a time. It helps.

I have some hunger occasionally too - agree with everyone above - keep protein up and stay away from "slider" foods (foods that go down easy and have a lot of calories ) and carbs. Also, my surgeon keeps telling me that hunger can be because of reflux so I take ranitadine twice a day and this help. Although they aren't my favorite and I suspect by 7 months I'll really hate them - whey protein shakes seem to help keep hunger away for hours. Good luck!
Same here! I'm about 6 months out and get hungry about every 90 minutes. I too will eat a few bites of this and that, mostly proteins like yogurt, cheese, peanut butter, cooked chicken, 1 scrambled egg or turkey bologna and NUTS! Lots of nuts and beef jerky. Yumm. Unfortunately I can't say if I've lost any weight lately as I've been in a leg cast since 04/19 and really haven't done much exercising since before then except for some chair yoga. I can't wait to weigh in again! But I feel as long as no weight is gained, then all is okay. We will lose sister! It's just not going to be as fast anymore. Stay positive!
I'm 7 mo out and down 170lbs. Hit my target weight, but still not there for my target bmi.
Im also getting hungry as I introduce more "normal" foods.
If I stay consistent, exercise in the morning and eat proteiny, things are great.
Don't exercise, eat higher fat or higher refined carbs and I get cravings.
Protein, hydration and exerscise are definitely the biggest help for me
how tall are you? What BMI is your goal?
I am right at 7 mths too, and I can really put some calories away if I am grazing on carb laden sliders. I have hit and maintained my goal though by getting back on track by doing the pouch test, and then laying off the carbs and working out 5 days a week. Do you track your food? It might really surprise you!
5 day pouch test link that I just found...
