B: usual
L: salad w/chicken, apple slices, and brussell sprouts
D: not sure, tonight is a holiday party for the "foster kids & parents" from the agency I work for. We have it at a restaurant at a golf club, with Santa, music, and gifts for them. It's always a fun time. I'll have a little bit of whatever is on the buffet, and then dance all night with the kids, most of whom are teenagers...lol...
S: lots of coffee at home w/Wasa light crackers w/jif whipped chocolate w/pb....too good!
Hope everyone has a good day.
Been a while since I posted. I've been eating whatever lately, in small post-operative quantities. I've also become exceptionally lazy and buying frozen meals, which while low in calories and fat are still high in sodium. Honestly though, I'm in such a fog lately with the holidays and finals that I really can't say I care about my diet too much except to make sure I'm not pigging out every day at every meal, and so far that's been successful. Weight has been steady and clothes still fit the same, so I am not complaining. Looking forward to being able to relax and not worry about school for a few weeks (final exam is this Thursday).
B: Jimmy Dean Delight Bowl
L: Smart Ones Fajita meal
D: Mushroom risotto stuffed chicken breast and green beans
Have a great day everyone!

Hi Everyone:
Haven't posted since b4 Thanksgiving. My husband & I drove back to Illinois for Thanksgiving. We took our time 3 days each way & spent the rest of the time with my family. Lost a couple of pounds while I was away. Was very aware that I wanted to pick on food at night, but I didn't give in. The urge to eat was increased due to being with my family. We all get along fine, but there's always those family dynamics going on. Had the thinnest slice of pumpkin pie I could cut. My niece prepared a ton of appetizers, but luckily, she had fresh shrimp cocktail - so that's all I ate for snackie time. I was very successful Thanksgiving and grateful not to have my face buried in a plate all day.
B - Ham & eggs scrambled with 0 calorie canola spray. 1 pc wheat toast
S - Quaker Oats Chewy peanut butter & chocolate chip bars
L - Tilapia
D - Not sure
Great to see y'all back.

L. Oyster and artichoke soup corn muffin
D. Grilled shrimp taco, black beans, chips and queso
Not being inventive since going out of town this weekend. Don't want to cook a lot of stuff
b - yogurt and toast
L - oyster and artichoke soup and corn muffin
D - baked chicken, black beans and spinach
s - grapes
Good afternoon, all!
Breakfast – 1/2 cup coffee, 1 sugar, 2 creams
Lunch – 1 cup Black bean soup, chips & salsa (about 5 or 6 chips)
Dinner – Tuna with soy sauce
Snack – Frozen greek yogurt or Dill Pickle Pork Rinds (my new fave...they sound gross, but they're good!)
I think I am seriously addicted to this black bean soup! I love the holidays but with all this running around...Sheesh! Also...I GOT A NEW JOB! I've been at my current job for 15 years. There's no benefits, but there was a paycheck, so I wasn't complaining. Well...I found another job that has GREAT BENEFITS! The pay is not great, but I'll take the benefits over that any day. My first day is Jan. 2nd! I'm nervous, because it is in a totally different field than what I'm in now. :/ Hope everyone has a great day!
B'fast: about 6 tablespoons oatmeal and 1 link sausage (1st restaurant since surgery; learning lesson-ask for SMALL bowl of oatmeal) lol
Lunch: homemade chicken vegetable soup (1 cup)
Dinner: Kirkwood All White Meat BBQ chicken tender
Snack: hmmmm- watermelon? grapefruit slices? yogurt? we'll see!
Congrats on the new job Kim. I am sure you will do fine!
Good Morning! Today is my Friday, as I'm off Thurs. & Fri. Short week next week too...
It's been a tough week regarding my eating. We've had so many little gatherings at work, and there has been so much dessert(: I didn't have the willpower that I usually had, and indulged in tasting small bites of things I like, cookies, cheesecake. The only consolation is that I only take a bite or two out of the things I like, and move on! I actually think I ate more sweets than food, which can't be good...lol... Today is a new day, and I packed my lunch and am going to a bariatric support group holiday party tonight, no worries about the wrong foods there.
B: usual
L: salad w/tuna, white of 1 hard boiled egg, tiny apple
S: skinny latte from Starbucks
D: not sure what's being served
S: 2 light Wasa flatbreads w/something on them, either cream cheese or the whipped chocolate/pb combo that I'm addicted to
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!
Susan, my usual breakfast is, greek non-fat yogurt, w/strawberres, rasberries and granola. I have been eating this breakfast since right after surgery.
It's my fav. breakfast, and probably eat this 6 out of 7 days a week. I do eat eggs, or if we go out to breakfast; I might have a little of an omlette. I always "feel better."
