snake 1 : coffee with skimmed milk no sugar added -- 50 kcal
L : 185 g Tuna in water -- 196 kcal
snake 2 : Guava juice 330 ml -- 175 kcal
D : 2 eggs with pastrami slice -- 230 kcal
snake 3 : apple 1 pcs -- 60 kcal
snake 4 : Orange 1 pcs -- 60 kcal

Total kcal today is 946 kcal

Morning all...I have an Easter party tomorrow and I KNOW I'll eat a lot of good food, so today is going to be protein and water.

B: yogurt, coffee
snack: LF cheese
L: protein shake
snack: boiled egg
D: chef salad w/chicken

L: Chinese buffet(I was good though and stuck to my no starches. )

Today
B: unjury shake
L: ? Maybe tuna and side salad
D: grilled burgers with some guac to top, yummy and grilled summer squash.

Okay, long update on Gayle....
1. My back -- is still bleeding. Went to surgeon yesterday, am on antibiotics,pain meds, etc. Next appt on Weds 4/3
2. Went shopping at Walmart after appt -- bought TONS of plants and bulbs on super sale (like 50 gladiola bulbs for $3.49) -- planted lettuces, collard greens, rosemary, spinach, pretty flowers in my numerous patio pots, etc -- good for the soul, if NOT for t he back.
3. Anna (my daughter) -- got word this week of a Fulbright combustion research scholarship in Germany for next year AND a 3 year NSF (national Science Foundation) scholarship for her PhD. She has finally decided between Michigan and Stanford -- it's Stanford! So, after spending this summer studying French at the Univ of Burgundy in France (father pays), she will head off to Germany for a year, then come back to the states to study at Stanford. Phew! THAT"S finally taken care of! It's been a stressful time waiting for things to fall into place.
4. Me - gastric surgeon appt on Monday. Need to talk about getting my hernia fixed in very early June. While there I hope to also discuss taking another bite out of my tummy. It is definitely too large. Weighing 130 -- I doubt he'll go for it -- but I would hate to have this loss unsustained because he just doesn't get how addicted I am to overeating -- I need some restriction for a lifetime loss maintenance. Hopefully a tummy tuck too, but it seems my smoking precludes that and I honestly cannot guarantee 12 weeks without smoking. Shocking to all you non smokers and ex smokers, I know.
5. Easter plans: Anna and her roommate will come for dinner. Plan is to have champagne to celebrate her recent successes and decisions, cheese plate, lamb and asparagus, strawberry shortcake. Sounds good to me! The berries are gorgeous right now!
I still love to cook and planning what to cook is taking the place of eating -- kind of a vicarious thrill.
Today -- salmon salad, salad, then I have no idea.... more later? Or was that all TMI? lol

Good morning! sunshine, beautiful sunshine! Going to be outside as much as possible today - cleaning out the car inside and out, cleaning up the garden which I left in the fall. Loving this! Going to go back to winter Monday, boo.

Br - coffee
Lu - vegetable beef soup, mainly just the meat
Di - grilled chicken, grilled veggies.
Sn - prob greek yogurt. Not trying to stick to the strict Atkins. Just trying to keep carbs below 50. Yesterday was bad. Over 100. Hard with the Easter candy and my baking. I have decided to give away most of what I bake. Then I get it out of my system and still get that lovely smell in my house. Have a blessed day oh, and Gayle! Yay for Anna! Wish she was coming to MI but so very happy for you!!! Hopethe bleeding stops. Perhaps you are overdoing it? Take cRe of yourself!!!

Grrr I had to do a blood sugar fasting and forgot about taking the Synthoid. I hope it doesn't ruin the results but probably will, you know how these things are. Ugh! Now I'm going to have to do two fasting samples!

Breakfast: Venti mocha
Snack: Cheese Danish
Lunch: 1/2 c. cottage cheese
Dinner Frozen entree

Grrrr...but Mom's doing a nice Easter dinner for tomorrow and I will need to practice my first 1) protein first 2) bird picking skills.

Went to my monthlly breakfast this morning w/my friends who all at one time worked at the same company I did. Unfortunately there were only 3 of us (out of 8) but it made for easier talking. came home fiddled around the house, took a nap, baked a cake to take for dinner tomorrow, just got home from grocery shopping. Tonite, dinner w/ a friend.

L: nothing
D: prolly some sort of soup?
